Welcome to "Poet in Sites"

Hi, I’m Andy Brown, and this is my personal travel blog. After earning an MFA in Creative Writing with a concentration in poetry, I started my career in publishing as a journalist and editor. I even sold advertising just to learn every aspect of the business. I combined those experiences to become a successful publisher, setting strategy and managing sales, editorial, marketing and production staff for several organizations. In 2014, I realized a lifelong dream to work for myself. Today, I make my living as a full-time freelance writer and in-house writing coach. I also publish a literary travel journal called Scrawl Place.
